I love this ******* car! Got to take it out yesterday with no real plans. Raped aped her for a good hour. 95 deg here in Houston and couldn't get oil temps above 215deg. Pulled real hard the whole journey and ran great!

Boost is KING!

You knew I spoke too soon....Damn oil leak:mad:

These AN fittings suck. Haven't had a chance to track it down yet but it appears to be the return line on the turbo.

I've seriously considering pipe dope but to be honest I'm pretty sure they leak from the swivel and not the threads

Mitco39 06-26-2014 03:13 PM

Which kind are you using currently? Are they the red and blue anodized ones? I upgraded some of mine to the black ones which are longer and bite the hose better.

All mine are the black ones. Sasha stopped using the blue and red ones. I think some of my problem is that I did two new things. 1. I was the first to put the kit on a G and 2. I was the first to include the GReddy relocated thermostat. Both required Sasha to guess at proper hose lengths. When I upgrade to V1.5 I'm going to rebuild every hose on the car. Hopefully that'll will fix it.

Yeah I know he did awhile back. Wasnt sure how long ago you ordered you kit. Just find a shop local to you to guarantee the lines against leakage. I brought mine back to Sasha this spring for him to develop the 1.5 kit and no leaks since he worked his magic on them.

I'm going to get under there when I get off work and see if I can find anything. It's very minor so I'll probably just live with it until I do the V1.5 upgrade. I'm anal and check the oil every night when I get home so a very minor leak isn't the biggest deal I just hate living with an oil leak.

Trust me, last year that was what I had to deal with. This year after Sasha took a look at it its been fantastic however.

I wish you the best of luck.

Well it appears the turbo return line is leaking. AN was tight son I tightened up the bolts on the reservoir and I'll keep watching it. The damn GReddy thermostat plate is still leaking. Can't wait to upgrade to V1.5 and get rid of the damn thing

jwick 06-30-2014 08:52 AM

Got the shipping notification from Tony Friday. Exhaust delivers Wednesday!

GaleForce 06-30-2014 10:08 AM

I really should upgrade to FI exhaust too.

Nope. Still waiting on Sasha to send me the V1.5 IC piping. both upgrades require a retune and with 100 deg Texas weather I want to limit the dyno time.

I was holding out for the Colorado too but turns out I can get the full size equally equipped for less. V8 > V6

I'm going S1 return setup too but not for this phase. Had to stop the bleeding somewhere.

Quit your whining and bust out the credit card. I haven't heard peep out of your build since the side skirt fiasco :stirthepot:
