if i did part it out i would lose out from shipping all the crap back to the states and no one locally would be insane enough to buy my parts id probably get lectured why my prices are so insane if i would sell my parts.... i can imagine me tryna sell my varis hood and some douchebag tells me **** dude i can get a brand new seibon hood for 600 bucks from ebay!!! your freaking high trying to sell your **** for 2k.... most of my conversations with my z with other car enthusiasts ends with me trying my best not to be upset because they say something stupid to me like... this has to be the best one yet...

at the time i was having a conversation with the dude i didnt know how much all in all i spent so i decided id tell him separately

me:center console $900 steering wheel $650 hand brake $250 dash hat 150

the dude interupts me and says damnnnnnnnnnn

me:its a expensive hobby....
guy: you do know you got ripped off right?
me:excuse me?
guy:yah man you definitely got ripped off.... you know that you can buy all that stuff from ebay right? i got mine for $150 for my accord and its easy to install you just prep the surface with alcohol and stick them on....

me:they arent stick on pieces most of them are molded on

guy:they look the same to me... if i had my accord i could show you...
me:no **** dude?
guy:yah man definitely because you know i work on my car by myself i dont like paying people to install my parts or buy my parts... i order them myself..

at this point the corner of my eye was freaking twitching i was so angry and wanted to tell this idiot off since i knew that i wouldnt win the battle with this guy.... i pretty much made his car the hero so he would walk away already before he left i said...

me:bro you should show me your car one day i would like to see your hardwork
guy:ill be entering the car show coming up im pretty sure im gonna place since ive done alot of work on my accord (this is the show i placed first in jdm category)
me:nice man ill see you there

none the less i saw that douche bag at the show with the rest of his crew and they were all mocking me saying how i got ripped off with what i payed for my parts.... all in all i walked away since they werent worth my time or my spit trying to explain why everything cost that much....


i saw his "show stopper" accord.... needless to say my lug nuts looked better than his whole car....
