It's lighter than stock but not the lightest you can get. No chatter here. That was one of the reasons I went with the Southbend set-up instead of Z1 or JWT. The JWT sounds like a tractor. Email or call Joe at Z-speed, tell him what you're looking for and he'll make sure you get what you need. Seriously, he is a great guy. He called me at 9:00 am Saturday morning while he was eating breakfast just to answer a question I had. Awesome customer service
