That's cause shipping and import from JP will get'cha every time :ugh2:
With the weather you're having there though (not much better here either) I guess there isn't much of a rush at the moment!

They aren't coming from JP, but I know what you're saying.

Yeah, and I just removed the snow tires on our DD's. At least the wife's car had all seasons, the Juke is summer tires. My drive home was a little sketchy last night.

I'm trying to amass parts for the Z, so I'm not too bothered by the weather.

I received the fittings for the Greddy oil filter relocation plate. I want to change out all the oil fittings, and need to order those. I have a strut bar coming from Mike the powder coater, I need to take that to my painter so he can colour match my harness bar. Then hopefully the seats and nice weather will be here shortly after I get that stuff done.

You could wait until Sasha releases the V1.5 and ask him to send you new hoses. If I go V1.5 I'll probably upgrade all the hoses except the turbo feed. I'm liking the though of eliminating two hoses more and more. Making the turbo easier to get in and out is just a tack on bonus

Exactly. I should wait to order the other fitting... Sucks that I just bought the Greddy relocator and $45 worth of fittings for it. I also bought more hose so I won't need Sasha to send me any. This all depends on the cost of going to the V1.5...

JARblue 04-16-2014 08:03 AM

So when are you moving to Texas? :nutswinger:

Yeah me too but hopefully I can recoup some cost of the GReddy but a few hundred bucks is well worth the peace of mind of two less failure points.

Absolutely, that is the main reason for me wanting to add the 0.5 to my 1.0 kit. :icon17:

That and I bought a lifetime supply of Purelator filters for the G which no longer fit.

At least they fit the Rogue

OMGWTFBBQ 04-16-2014 11:29 AM

Which GReddy relocator did you get and what fittings? I might be interested in taking them off your hands for a small project of mine.

edconline 04-16-2014 11:30 AM

Sorry, did I say Japan? I meant... Germany? :rofl2: I will find out which ones they are!

Its the only GReddy thermostat adapter that I know of. Check out my build thread for pics. The only diiference is Sasha swapped the -10an fittings for -8an

I'm going to be nearly $300 to replace the fittings. Worth it for peace of mind.

jwick 04-17-2014 10:47 AM

You replacing the oil feed line too? That seemed to be something a little different than the larger AN hoses for the rest of the kit

Yeah, Sasha gave me a list of fittings. A handful -8an, and a handful -6an.

The turbo feed line is a -4AN

I'm not sure if I'll change that one. It has different fittings from what I remember and isn't leaking. I have to find time to get under the car again and check things out before I order new fittings.

GaleForce 04-23-2014 05:38 PM

Got a new strutbar today. Thanks to Wiggins for selling me the bar, and Mike the powdercoater for powdercoating it.

The colour is darker than I wanted but the finish is perfect.

Now I'm going to get my harness bar painted to match, or paint both a lighter shade.
