I emailed Jim @ Stillen about the clips and about whether to lube anything in there, and his answer boiled down to, paraphrased: "that stuff's all about NVH. If you don't care about NVH, don't bother putting in the clips and don't bother with brake parts lube on the pad backplate either (or anywhere)." __________________ 7AT Track Car!
