I bought a 36 X 46 inch piece of heat shielding from PEP-BOYS. I have seen some other types and used other types on race trucks. I don't have the money for all that.
So I laid it out and cut manageable strips. I think it came out okay. When I came home last week i could have scrambled eggs on my intakes. No matter what the volume of air flow is, it has to effect the air temperature going into the engine. Especially with a Gen 3 intake, tubes are supper long. I have seen discussions on the forum about doing this or Not to do this. Make your own call. It may do nothing for me, don't really have a way yet to measure air temps but it looks cool. Just like the370Z.com sticker... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for lookin, Rep if you like the progress...
