I have no idea. its a iphone 5s.

That's is true. No ice mode for us. There's no doubt we are hitting over 1g under braking. Especially at Road Atlanta T10

1986 GLL trim, everything works and is all original. 94000 miles.

It looks super clean, congrats can't wait to see what you do with it.

What are you going to do with it? Backup track car while you work on the 370? Weekend cruiser / roadtrip machine? Also, is that the NA or Turbo one? I'm not enough of a Z31 enthusiast to even tell from the pics :)
|
i'm just curious... now that you've towed with the Cayenne a bit more, what do you think of it compared to the full size SUV's you were using before?

Very nice. Nissan is looking to put Cummins diesels in the next Titan for sure and possibly the Frontier as well (it would make sense if you are going to invest in diesel training to do it for more than one vehicle). Depending on the price of both and how they turn out in reliability and cost of ownership, one of those two may end up being a replacement for the StormFront in the future. I know what you mean about the comfort, too. My GXP is very comfortable and makes for a great road trip car, the primary function of it for me.
Side note: it's funny how many people I've met in the GM crowd down in ATL that know who you are or have already done business with you. |

Nice looking Z31! Wasn't a huge fan of them until the trip to Japan last fall... Now I want one. :)

Also, aside from the fuel pump in my wife's Z4 going out right after we got it, it too has been trouble free for 4 years now. |
transmission went out at Daytona. after 1/2 a lap, the car wouldn't downshift. Sometimes it would grind and sometimes it just wouldn't go into gear. felt like I was moving the shift lever up against a brick wall. It had been grinding in 4th for the last several events, and getting a little worse, so its off to Z1 for a new transmission. Apparently, Nissan is on Rev. 9 on the trans with better syncros and stuff and I have a Rev 1. The one I'm getting is out of a 12 or 13 nismo with only around 2500 miles on it.

Is the 'rev' stamped on the casing or do you have to figure it out some other way?
|
It should be stamped on the part number, they are usually something like CD40323-0000x, although this particular part number is totally made up for example purposes.
I haven't looked at mine, but I have a fairly early 09 |

Its been notchy and not smooth shifting for a while, and 4th has also been grinding slightly for about a year.

Not much to add, since the build is finished and just tracking it now. Last May I replaced the transmission and last week embarked on rebuilding the brakes.
I also recently had the diff cooler rewired from a thermostat switch to an on/off switch. Had a frozen bleed screw on a front caliper, and it broke off in place. Ran the caliper through the burn off oven as that usually frees up whatever corrosion is holding it up and tried to use an easy out to get what was left out, but it was still frozen and the easy out busted off inside the hole. So, I ordered a new caliper for $1000 :( |
Ouch! :(

nothing new to post for a while
as the car is all done. But, I picked up my new trailer for it yesterday. 8.5x20 with a side awning, and 4' dragster ramp flap on the rear door for easy loading and a winch installed.
