Nice. Looks like a V-nose.

I'll have about 1000 lbs to spare once all loaded. 3200 trailer, 3000 Z and about 500 in tires and gear, 6700. Cayenne is rated for 7700.

10000. have 5200# axles. Although when I went to take delivery at factory, they had the smaller axles on it and had to take it back and swap them out. Glad I caught that it only had 5 lug wheels and not 6 before leaving.

Nice setup!

Nice trailer. I had a track buddy that used to bring his car to the track in a very similar set-up. Even though I didn't have a trailer, I loved using his....shade, protection from the wind, rain......every tool I ever needed....

Latest mod:
Just put this on friday at the track between sessions. Gives a noticeably firmer pedal. Not a huge change, but noticeable. Highly recommend it. https://www.z1motorsports.com/brakes...ce-p-9538.html https://www.z1motorsports.com/imageG...inderBrace.jpg |
Thanks for the heads up!

Dustin got one of those for his 350 and yeah, I could feel a difference after. Just makes the brake pedal feel more "solid" overall.
|
ready to sell. Getting out of the track game. 17k if interested, and a great enclosed trailer for 5 more is available, but only with sale. going to eventually put it on bring a trailer if noone is interested, but posting here first

It's been a long time Mike. Sorry to see you getting out of it. :( You influenced a lot of people, including me. So what are your plans now?

I could sell a couple of cars to come up with the cash. Unfortunately, it's just not practical to daily drive a racecar :(
Best wishes for your future endeavors. Please stick around and share them with the forum :tiphat: I've got the Fairlady Z (blue lettering) white strut bar and matching engine cover you did for daisuke way back when - my absolute favorite cosmetic mod and always an eye-catcher  |

Sold the car and trailer last weekend. Was kind of sad, but also kind of nice to see the new owner thrashing it at Road Atlanta for ZCON today.

Life moves on. Things come and go.
You still doing powder coating? |

No, I retired that business a bit more than a year ago. When I was promoted to Captain at Delta, I started to cut it back, but realized I had to be either in business and committed to it, or not. Had to start it due to the pay cuts after 9/11 and Delta's bankrupcy, but have fully recovered from that now,and then some. For about 10 years I worked 28-30 days per month between both jobs.

You should hook up with Onzedge. He flies Delta about twice a week. Good luck to you with your future plans. Don't be a stranger either. |

I'm back!!!!!!
|
Hell Yea!
I actually just saw one that color today. Very cool in person! |

Love that burgundy red color. Those wheels really set it off. Blacking out that stupid silver “katana blade” accent is definitely the way to go. |
Congrats Mike! I’m still rocking the Volk GTS you powder coated 10+ years ago!
