It was just a baseline dyno before i go and get the Fast Intentions exhaust installed next week. Then i'm going to order some post MAF tubes and go back for a tune. I know i won't NEED a tune, but i'd like to fix my slightly rich AFR, and i love the idea of the different tunes (economic, performance, valet).

After reading Clutch pedal too soft/no feel? Remove the helper spring! I removed the clutch pedal helper spring a few days ago. Today i put on a replacement spring from Century Spring. Part#72577 (Thanks bluenoser) I was told this spring is about 20% as strong as the OEM spring. and it really only gets rid of the little bit of looseness that was there sans spring.
What a world of difference!!! It feels like your diving a proper stick again!!! I'm able to feel the engagement of the clutch like I'm used to and i drive much more smoothly then i have since first buying the Z. I didn't really notice anything was wrong before taking the OEM spring off, i just thought i was still getting used to the car. I highly recommend this!!! |

I also received my 40th Anniversary Build Number Badges this morning!!!
![]() So I put those on after the grounding wires. They fit great and look great! Ordered them Monday, and came in Saturday, packed very well so they would not bend or get scratched. Thanks DarkPath http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-g...n-club-32.html Page 32 has the purchasing info you'd like a set for your 40th Anniversary. And lastly, I tried to fix a rattle from the hatch that i've been having when my car sits in the sun all day at work.
After reading Rattle Fixed! What the heck is this? i took my upper hatch apart, took the weight/dampener? off, made a foam type gasket of sorts, and put the weight/dampener back on by cranking the hell out of the bolts. I'll update next week about the rattle going away or not. Hope it works!!! UPDATE: still rattling from hatch area! Damn. Last edited by adampetrasek; 08-31-2011 at 05:55 PM. |
