Cool! i will be very interested in how it works on the track. im debating on whether i go FI and have been waiting to see a serious track car to go this route to see problems. i dont like forging new ground $$$$$.
curious what are you doing to detune? A motor that has good flat power curve may actually outperform a peaky motor on certain tracks. Certainly better in traffic. only time peaky motors are good is when you have lots of open track in front of you with no one to slow you down.
