Hey Mike. I think your looking at the results of my wing. Your wing results are in this link. Mine are in the second link. I hope I'm not reading it wong. Please correct me if so.

Also my new alignment specs. Man this cars handles so much better. The turn in so wonderful. Ten times better than my last alignment. Mike thanks for recommending these places. They were both great with great people.

Wing looks really good and sounds like its making a nice difference functionality wise!

Car just went up 2 points in the aggressive looks category

SPOHN 10-17-2011 06:55 PM

More trim painted. Looks best in dimmer light.

Pretty sweet spohn

SPOHN 10-17-2011 07:28 PM

I made it myself. I'm crafty sometimes.

No, its my wing. You need to read the verbage, which I never did until today either. Those numbers are Newtons. You need to divide them by 4.44822 to get pounds of downforce.

SPOHN 10-17-2011 07:29 PM

Oh, well that sucks. Even though I could feel it today. I still can adjust the angle to pick up some. That's going to some require track time to see what happens.

Mike 10-17-2011 07:35 PM

oh, it definitely makes a 'feelable' difference! I still lost 2mpg towing my car on an open trailer regardless of what the numbers are and also picked up 10mph on the Road Atlanta esses and lots 7 on the big straight.

SPOHN 10-17-2011 07:37 PM

I can't wait to get to Road Atlanta next month. New wing and alignment. I'm ready. Going to pick up some XP 8's also. Maybe this time I can ride with yea.

SPOHN 10-22-2011 04:10 PM

Picked this up today. Carbotech XP 8's, ARP studs for the front (already had them on the rear), and Redline MT85 transmission fluid. Can't wait to get it on Monday.

I took the hoods off the top then taped the hell out of it. It seems after the hoods are off thy the gauge face would pop off for there are clips on the top. But there are some on the bottom that you can't reach. So instead of forcing it I just left them on and tape around them then install old bed sheets and newspaper around the rest. Sort of a pain but worth it IMO.

That's funny. I still have to do the steering wheel accessories. That is going to require alot of work by covering the lettering for they are lighted. Might not touch them though.

HKYStormFront 10-24-2011 07:41 AM

yea that sounds like a PITA, maybe a vinyl overlay would work better?

haitech 10-24-2011 05:49 PM

Your car is looking better everytime I see it(not that it didn't look good in the first place).

SPOHN 10-29-2011 03:07 PM

Thanks John. Wait till next year. Going to dedicate it to more safety items.

Here's the vents in the rear that help reduce the pressure inside the the cab when closing the door.
