if you're considering it, look into shadowing tails. where they basically take your taillight apart and paint the inside black, it looks a lot cooler. and you won't get any cop trouble in LI.

I heard its a pain to open the tail lights as these is no silicone/glue but cement in there, if can get a bit of guidance i really want to open my tails

I like how you painted the bottom section of the rear bumper.

Winter wheels are HellaSunk y0!

I'd do it if my tails weren't already sprayed.

here is a video of my winter tires at work... 720p is available.

When the storm was bad:

when it just started:

I cant get them embedded for some reason....

Sold my winter tires to another NY forum Member... was tough to let them go since it was a ton of fun driving the beast around in the cold weather and snow, but to save some miles and money on my rim re-finish/tire project I sold them...

Def proved to me that with a set of good winter tires the Z is more than capable of being driven safely.

I recently picked up a set of Volk GTS wheels 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 . They were used and a stock color of Mercury Silver. I got them for a great price due to some damage on the lips from acidic soap. Sold my OEM rays and Winter set and picked these up and have money to cover the refinish and tires. I will be looking for a cheap set of OEM 18s for when they pop up so I have some OEM wheels if I ever decide to let this car go.

As of yesterday the Volk Wheels were dropped off at "Al's Hubcaps" in Mineola NY. He has been in business for 17 years and I was referred to him by a bunch of guys on a BMW forum I visit. Saw his before/afters from there and his work matched my expectations.

I went with a polished lip with a center color of Charcoal Grey... This is a photoshop BoostLee made up for me of what they will look like... The shade of grey that they are getting re-finished to is prob a touch darker than this pic but this gives a good idea... The rear wheel in this pic has a 8mm spacer, front has none. I am installing a 10mm spacer when I put these on. For this test fit pic I used two cheapo spacers that just fit on your stock studs... 1 5mm and 1 3mm... with the 10mm the offsets should be just what I like.

and this is the OG color of them...

Just bit the bullet and paid the money for the front and rear black chrome emblems I have wanted for a long time.... 370zSource just got them so I ordered from them, they should match my wheels well.. Still going without the 370z emblem so that saved me 90 bucks, lol.... here is a pic...

http://www.thezstore.com/store/graph...arge311151.jpg

Also with these wheels / emblems being installed I am now more interested in getting my tail lights done like the G37 has them done above... I am going to be contacting 180 customs about that and also a possible headlight job. No LEDs or anything, just Matte black or charcoal grey housings...

I am also contemplating painting my fangs similar to the member who just did so in such a way that left the bottom most portion of the bumper still white... here is a link... http://www.the370z.com/exterior-inte...tml#post896850

That with matte black headlights would be sick. If I don't do this I may go with the charcoal grey, matching the wheels..

After this the car will be almost done..... for the time being.... other than a flywheel , sways, and possibly a pulley my mods outside of FI would be done.

I am going to get on a OC test at some point, as I unfortunately feel as if my motor may fail it. If that does happen and I get a new long-block my pursuit for FI would become a lot more serious as I would baby the thing like no other making sure the motor is as fresh as possible upon boost.
