Well, power is useless if you can't put it to the ground! Soo here's another update:

  • UPDATE 4/26/10
Southbend Stage 4 Clutch arrived from CZP today. I also received my Fidanza Light Weight aluminum flywheel. You can check out the pictures of the full package below.

Full Clutch Package

Weight of the complete flywheel:

Fidanza Flywheel Weight 15.2lbs

I wanted to show you all why there is a CSC problem. Notice in this picture, the stock CSC without the ZSP fix does not make proper contact with the pressure plate teeth.

Stock CSC barely makes contact with teeth

Here are a few more showing how the fix solves this issue.

CSC With ZSP Fix - Success!

ZSP CSC Fix

It appears that the only thing missing now is the supercharger

Hey, how much did you stiffen your kws, I had mine installed today & the guy just straight installed them. I'm going to wait a week & go back for a realignment/height adjust/and stiffen the KWs a little bit. Any advice on how to adjust these so they are perfect? or is it just adjust height, stiffen, and your done...?

Umm...ok. Don't wait a week to get an alignment...your alignment might be completely whacked out right now. Or at leat don't drive the car too much. KW's come preset with awesome settings from the factory, I hope you guys didnt screw around with it. You only have to adjust height and get an alignment...

Thanks Rcz, ya I didnt even touch the stiffness at all, im glad to hear the height is all I need to adjust, It was too low, then it was adjusted atad higher, cus I figured it will lower when the springs settle plus I have the F.I. exhaust. I already got an alignment after they installed it. So with yours did you just adjust the height?

yes all I did was change the ride height. Be advised they settle around 1/4 inch and that is a lot. Lowered like I am I already scrape the crossmember on big speedbumps, don't lower your car too much because you'll kill the fi.

B jellus hehe. it's not that great. I just got a gf too so that might be the end of my modding spree. Im actually sitting at a trade show in Lima, Peru right now. Free wifi and 2 hours to kill though so I'm on here. As far as taking out stock, yeah soon as I have my ipo I'll let you know. I actually just posted a 370z intake roundup on 370zreport. You guys should check it out and give me some feedback. I am also looking for collaborators who want to send me some content. I'm about to add a "commentary" section to post 370z related opinions and such, less factual, just thoughts.

You guys can always comment on there too, I'd appreciate some love on there to help it grow.

Must be nice to be jet setting around the world. Gotta share the wealth with the g/f (they like shiny things) and you be spreeing again in a short time.

I am heading over to 370zreport now to check it out.

If you need some help on the website, report back on products, etc. let me know.
Waiting on everyone to get the superchargers on, I like testing products but forced induction I am not 100% ready to be a tester on that.

Oh yeah, I mean I would like to get some exclusive feedback from you guys about products and stuff. I would like the report to be by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts. Meaning that we can all the the a b and c from company marketing piece, but I think there is more value from the personal experiences that folks have. So yeah I want to post news and objective stuff about new products, but I think it's much more interesting to read some commentary. So yes, I would like some support from you all. Product reviews, thoughts on certain issues, problem fixes, product reviews, company reviews, etc etc

Hey Raul you saw I posted the dyno sheets for my LTHs, right? Feel free to use 'em for your blog. Hit me up if you want me to help with an article or whatever. Also, I now have the F.I. CBE on order, so I'll be doing an F.I. CBE vs. Stillen CBE comparo (and from the perspective of someone who already has the LTHs to boot!).

Long tubes plus your supercharger might the winning combination right now (pick your exhaust).

For the 370zreport, maybe some reviews on CBE, HFC & CAI combos.

Hmm possibly, but that would require a custom tune. I like the idea of more torque, but I have conflicting ideas about headers.

I have thought about it, but there is such a huge number of possible combinations that its a little overwhelming. I am working on an exhaust roundup and that alone is a ridiculous amount of work. There is so much information and its hard to make sense of all the different data points available without doing some really involved research.
