SPOHN 03-13-2011 04:21 PM

I like the flat black

Boost_lee 03-13-2011 04:48 PM

Thanks spohn

Thanks Ty. I jumped the gun on the stillen lip only because they had a little 5% sale at the time. I think the evor lip is better painted, or in carbon. With your black fangs, it will look great. Did you get around to painting and installing it yet?

haha. Sometimes the car is clean... but if i were to wash my PW and drive somewhere to take pics, it would look dirty already haha

In the summer time there will be no dirty pics as I keep the car clean and waxed in temperatures about 65 lol

boost it looks great!!!

Boost_lee 03-14-2011 12:23 AM

thanks Chuck

Splinter 03-14-2011 12:41 AM

stillen lip looks great and agreed, it flows alot better with the evo r side blades, almost as if they belong in the same kit lol.

what are you doing with the evo r lip btw??:rofl2:

Boost_lee 03-14-2011 01:21 AM

Thanks

EVO-R lip is already in someone else's hands now

tsolin01 03-14-2011 09:54 AM

Looks good man. Those blades flow well with the stillen lip.

GZ3 03-14-2011 10:03 AM

dang boost! am getting left behind in the looks department big time...i been to caught up finishing up my exhaust! look awesome....next meet!?

RCZ 03-14-2011 10:52 AM

Yeah, that looks awesome man. Did you take any shots from quarter view of the front? I want to see how it flows. Very nicely done, your car looks great!

Boost_lee 03-14-2011 10:58 PM

Thanks Tsolin

Gabe - you got me beat in the performance aspect though! haha

RCZ - thanks man. Those are the only pics I have for now. I'll try to get more this weekend. The curved part of the stillen lip sticks out just about the same as the side blades, so they match good.

Boost_lee 03-23-2011 11:04 PM

Subs and headunit installed. Need another day for the door speakers.

Splinter 03-24-2011 02:40 PM

Boost_lee 03-24-2011 03:50 PM

Post MAF tubes installed
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...3/IMG_9040.jpg

Component door speakers should be installed on Thursday afternoon.

batman_4 03-29-2011 04:30 PM

nice, that speaker set-up is cleeeean!!!

how do you like the HPS tubes? i'm planning on ordering them.

pg6speed 03-29-2011 04:32 PM

Audio looks good Lee, how do you like those 8's?

Boost_lee 03-29-2011 04:41 PM

I haven't tuned them just yet ty, ill do that on Thursday when I get the components. So far they hit pretty good for 8's! Should be nice and clean like I wanted.
Any suggestions on tuning the setup? I have a general idea of what to do, but ive never tuned audio personally. No idea what to listen for when I'm trying to hear when the hu starts clipping or when the subs/components distort etc.

Guillermo, I haven't driven the car yet, I just put in those tubes last night before I posted the pic. Ill see how it drives on Thursday.

Jamaica 03-29-2011 05:09 PM

Boost_lee 04-18-2011 12:02 PM

Thanks guys, ill try to have more pics tonight.

No problem on the stance setup, those are awesome springs. I'm glad I was only of the early few to try them out, it was worth it.

Boost_lee 04-18-2011 11:15 PM

Boost_lee 04-19-2011 11:37 PM

Wow thanks! Its hard to pick the right mods and piece them together, but it is sure worth all of the time spent researching.

What an honor, especially as your first post! lol

Jamaica 04-19-2011 11:59 PM

haha this car is making me want to mod the crap out of my monterey blue, I have been talking to greg over at gtmotoring about getting a few parts soon, I will start a journal after that and try to compete, however it is probably a losing battle.

awesome car man. :bowrofl:
