Car looks sick. Nice color ;)

Just my take, but the rear bumper add ons in blue dont match the rest, you should get them in CF. Or atleast paint the lower parts dark to match the sides and front lips.

If you ever decide to sell the rear bumper add ons let me know...! I am looking for a set in blue. :)

Going to try them with Nismo front and sides! If I don't like it I will get the Nismo rear bumper.

damn looks good. Stock rays looks amazing still.

Rear adds on

half Cf half blue....

Boost_lee 02-25-2011 10:05 PM

Thanks for the compliments

I like the rear add on's in blue, they help give the illusion that the car is lower. I don't really want to do carbon on this car, which is why I got everything in frp. Hell, I love the mines spoiler, but I don't want it in carbon, sucks.

Also I should be losing the front lip tomorrow. Really looking to get wheels, that way I can have them when these stock tires wear out

You can always purchase the Mines spoiler.....and paint it to match the car. Just a thought.......like what I did with the Mines front lip:

The whole piece is CF but the body shop painted it so it would match the EVO-R CF fang piece. ;)

^showoff! ;) I love that molded lip!

:bowrofl: Yeah, I blame 370ZTune for posting a photo of it on a white 370....otherwise I never would have thought about it!

370Zsteve 02-26-2011 12:51 PM

Mister Lee! The car looks fantastic, very subtle. Well done, sir!

Boost_lee 02-26-2011 07:16 PM

yea I considered painting the mines wing also. Tony do you have a profile shot, rear shot high and low with the mines wing? Maybe I can photoshop it.

thanks for the compliments :) Subtle is exactly what i was going for

.......here's a couple more you might be able to use for photoshop to get an idea...although the glare from the sky and sun might be too much:

Boost,

I love the drop! I'm thinking of keeping my stock sport wheels too and this is the look i'm hoping for, but I have a few questions.

What size tire are you running with that?

Do any of your tires rub at all?

Any adverse handling effects?

Did you need to buy any alignment extras to make this work out with the drop?

Running stock tires with 16K on them

No rubbing. Even with 15mm spacers in front, and 20mm spacers in rear

Handling has improved with the swift springs!

I haven't been aligned yet, so I am not sure. I will likely get aligned when I get new wheels.

Thanks! Thereis no rubbing? Thats awesome! No mid corner bumps or anything?

I'm hoping that I won't need any sort of camber bolts or crap like that. I dealt with those on my last car. I'd like to keep it as close to OE setup as possible just with a better spring. Since the spacers will change the wheel rate, I want to increase the spring rate a bit to not lose performance.

Can you make sure to post alignment specs and such on here? I'm likely gonna use your setup as my reference if you don't mind

Boost_lee 03-03-2011 12:19 PM

I dont mind, I just dont know when I will be aligned

No worries... I'm still shopping ideas and doing research

TongMan 03-03-2011 05:41 PM

Hey, how did you wire your rear fog light? I have the prewiring at the rear bumper, but I do not know how to give it power. Any help?

Boost_lee 03-03-2011 06:25 PM

What pre wiring are you talking about? There is something that looks like a plug for the fog but I don't know if that is wired up correctly.

I bought the short z1 pigtail version and simply tapped off of my license plate lights.

TongMan 03-03-2011 07:51 PM

dang...I guess i'll have to tap it to the license plate lights. I can't even get the dummy light out, so I may have to abandon my rear fog light install.

Yes watch the locktite, nissan loads these little bolts with it. Try heating up the nuts and see if it helps. If not, put ur socket on a drill and let it spin until the other end melts the housing,. It was a last resort for me, but i won't be reinstalling the butt plug anyways lol

chuckd05 03-12-2011 10:03 PM

just post a pic with the car dirty! who cares! Delete it later...

I want to see a picture of the lip too! I wonder how it would look on a black car..

n370zpg 03-12-2011 11:32 PM

Boost_lee 03-13-2011 03:46 PM

As you can see, I left the lip black as is. I like this lip in black as it flows with the side blades well. I don't know how I would feel about it being color matched, need to see it first.

Comparing this to the evor lip is going to come down to the individual. Both lips have near perfect fitment, so it comes down to the look that you are going after.

I love the way this lip flows with my setup though, it suits the exact look I was going after.

Thanks for the compliments folks, I should get better pics next weekend.

pg6speed 03-13-2011 04:02 PM

Looks great Lee it does flow better with the side blades!
