:D thanks. Now I need boost :)
The pic was taken at long exposure then painted with a flashlight |
|
Hmm...SSRs or Rays? Either one is a win in my book. Now boost that blue female dog!
|
Awesome, looks like G2's!
But that SSR coffee table    Get the lip on yet? |
, no more tease!
side note: i got that same canvas in my room :happydance:, also what did you use to put on the lip of that SSR rim to make a table? i have an old O.Z. Superleggera rim and want to do the same. |
Yep g2's will be on soon. I need to save for powdercoating
These should save me about 5lbs per corner on the rotational mass. As for the table G, I just used pieces of vacuum lines sliced in half. I slip over the lip and the glass won't slide |
very sick z indeed...but damn man....
FI>MD anyday!!! http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5307/...07ca3652_b.jpg versus http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...79352121_o.jpg |
Thanks
but sound-wise I prefer the MD :D This (18" FI + ART Pipes) vs this (MD+ART Pipes) |
Phone pics of the new lip

Where's the wheel?....and boost?:stirthepot:
|
New lip looks great, Boost! I have a question for you, I have the Stillen splitter and I was considering the Ings+ as well. What did you do when replacing the lip as far as cleaning up the marks/tape residue left from the Stillen lip? Also, does the Ings+ cover the holes left on the inside of the front wheel wells where the Stillen was previously attached? Thanks!
|
Sick!
|
thanks guys. I wasn't going to mount the wheels until I got them powdercoated, but after seeing those pics I'm going to install them as flat black for a few months.
As for the ings lip, it does not cover the holes on the side of the front bumper unfortunately. As for the tape residue, it all came off with soap and water using my fingernails. I used some prep spray to remove the hard to get stuff. One thing different on the ings lip is that you need to remove the sport chin spoiler. |

i agree with you Boost. Between the two, the MD sounds better. IMHO, a 12" non res CF would probably be a good match to the MD. Would like to see a comparative video of that someday. |
I was spotted tonight

Nice a pillars bro
|
Thanks man. I'm debating on removing them actually...it's a hit n miss with me still
|
the only thing i hated about your car previously was the wheels, now it looks great!
i like the painted door handles too, i might have to do that |
Thanks man. Having fake wheels always ate me up inside lol. Since before I bought the car, I've always wanted white TE's... and these G2's aren't a bad alternative for me. I'll probably powdercoat after these tires wear down.
|
I also finally installed by BC coilover extender knobs. I trimmed them down similar to another member on this forum (can't remember their SN) so they sit flush.
