But I think my only option would be to get a bumper with one so it’s ok I’ll keep mine haha

Slimmer profile rear led fog lights (non 370z specific) are available though.

Have not seen other slimmer profile rear fogs though, I’ll look into that and see how I feel. Thanks!

Alright, i probably did something that's not very popular, but I am not a big fan of the single walled titanium HKS tips. Yes i know they are signature HKS and they are JDM af, but I prefer the stainless steel rolled tip look more. So...I cut my brand new HKS exhaust and welded new tips on
![]() little nervous in the beginning... ![]() ![]() the welds ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Now it's perfect to me ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() also replaced the OEM heater hose connector with an aluminum one ![]() another shot of the v2 Nismo steering wheel since i didnt love the first shot i took of it.

I think the single walled tips look good on a smaller diameter pipe. If it's larger, then it needs to be rolled. I'm with you on this mod.

Thanks guys! It’s pretty good the way it is now. I’m not sure if I’ll do much else to it…
Though the urge to get some v2 NISMO seats and some te37sl’s lingers

My key came with a Nissan logo, so I bought a used key with a Z logo on eBay and swapped the shell! Also got a retro Nismo logo jet tag from Nissan. They originally only had it at the SEMA show in Las Vegas, but they’re finally selling them online!

I did it! I took my car to the track! It was super fun! I was a little nervous so I didn’t push too hard. Probably only drove around 5/10ths. But I’m more comfortable now and will push harder next time! It was a beginner’s day so the first 3 sessions were lead and follow and braking exercise. Only the last 2 sessions were free sessions.
Now since my car did not come with a stock oil cooler (although that wouldn’t hold up in hard tracking anyways), overheating was my biggest concern. It was a hot August day at Buttonwillow and it was 100F. Now since it was a beginner’s track day, I did not install an oil cooler. I figured I wouldn’t be pushing too hard, and if I see my oil temp go up I’ll just back off and do a cool down lap. Instead, I found on the forum that years ago people installed these ARC Cool Fins to help with oil temp. They basically act as a giant heat sink to dissipate heat. They advertise 5-10F, though in reality I doubt it’s that much. But regardless it was cheap enough to try and even a few degrees help. Not sure if it’s placebo but I did notice a few degrees cooler during my normal drive. At the track, I didn’t push too hard and I got up to 265ish and backed off. I think if I pushed harder I probably would’ve hit limp mode at 280F. Now please enjoy the pics! Action shots on the track were taken by the track photographer. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() My friend gave me this tow strap but unfortunately it doesn’t fit looks cool though so just took a few photos with it haha. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Tracking after math. Only burn a little oil, maybe less than 1/4 quart ? ![]() Little bit of coolant spill, but coolant temp and levels look fine. Could just be bad seal from the cap? ![]() A little bit of tire wear, not too bad! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Congrats on your first track day! Awesome!
Take it easy whenever you go, gradually push the limit and listen to the car. However you flip it - definitely GO for the oil cooler installation, as otherwise it's inevitable that your oil will get hot. I'd also advise upgrading at least your brake fluid and pads at a very minimum. But I'll also stop here, as once you're past this point, the list just goes on and on and on...
