You can put the bracket in a vise and use a hammer to bend it out a little. It wouldn't take much to do. From the picture, it looks like

You can put the bracket in a vise and use a hammer to bend it out a little. It wouldn't take much to do. From the picture, it looks like it is bent too much. and you need about 1/32" for it to fit.
