You need them if you want to take advantage of all that suspension work you did!

When I had a oiled filter I would just buy replacements once a year so I didn't have to deal with washing and re-oiling.

I don't mind it since I have the recharge kit and it takes an hour to dry.

I'll rinse em out, let dry, oil and put in the next day. I don't pull my car out until late march typically so this is all down time lol

The N55 gets great mileage, too, though. I averaged 34 mpg on my recent trip to NYC, which included a lot of city driving. I can do ~38 mpg on the highway if the conditions are right (relatively flat roads and sub 75mph cruise.)

BTW, what are you going to be driving at ZDayZ?

I'll be taking the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk down. I'll have the winch available so I can be the official "ZDAYZ rescue vehicle" ;).

I do plan on going down early and finding an off-road park (Gatlinberg possibly) for a day trip to have some off-road fun. Hanging out and enjoying the event will be different without a Z for the hot runs, but I'll have fun regardless. I have not decided what day I'm coming down. I have the room for the week, so I'll figure it out soon.

I guess I have to move up to take your place in line during the morning runs now. :rofl2:

Planning on going. Also debating whether I should put in some fresh brake fluid. I've had the rbf600 in there for like 2 years, but I'm also planning on selling the car by the end of the year and trying to avoid unnecessary expenses on it.

You should. That type of fluid you should really consider changing annually.

I'll hand over the great view I had of Mike getting smaller... LOL

I was keeping up with him better last year after my suspension mods, but I think he has been changing his setup since last year and I expect he'll be faster still again.

But the Jeep does have a "Sport" setting, so maybe I'll try to keep up. :rofl2:

I think I have a power bleeder that you can use for free... I just have to see when I can get to a MAZOC meet that you will be attending as well.

That would be awesome, thanks!

Once the weather gets warm, I'll probably make it out to a Fairfax meet at some point.

Well that's the plan for this year. Still waiting for work to give me final approval for my PTO. Supposed to be starting a new project in the next month so they're waiting to get the project schedule finalized first.

I'm so glad my finals are actually the week before ZDayZ. First time that's ever happened while I've been in school with the Z.

that's an easy one. I did mine in an hour with a little help from my pops for an extra set of hands when running the lines.

disassembly of the front end takes as long as the install did.

I just have to knuckle down and do it. Of course, now we have nearly a foot of snow again. :shakes head:

If by "garage" you mean a large storage area for my mom to store all the crap she doesn't want at her house.. then, yes. :ugh2:

spoiled lol

Trying to buy a house where I can build a detached garage just for the Z. :yum:

I don't think it's ever possible to have a "big enough" garage. :icon17:

The one for my house was advertised as a 2 car garage, but it's more like a 1.5 car garage. Enough space for my car and some storage, which is all that matters. Everyone else in my family is on their own with parking :roflpuke2:

yea it's always a toss up on the space because like you said a "2 car" listing may not be 2 car plus space between said cars lol

Took the Z out today for the first time in almost three weeks. Confirmed that I have only put about 475 miles on it this year (after today). Looking forward to actually driving it a bit in a couple months! I should probably drive it more, but it's really nice not having to put miles on it if I don't want to.

Sell it and get a BMW, Audi, Porsche, or Benz
