I'm gonna go do a bunch of practice runs on my old tires in the spring before I switch. I'd say high 10's would be a stretch but a possibility but I will need practice.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you'll be mid to high 11s until you change tires. And by that, I mean change into anything other than drag radials.

have you seen what happens to the stock axles when you launch on slicks?

Yes. I'm assuming anyone launching on slicks (or even DRs with this car) would be smart enough to have some spares on hand.

I'm guessing mid 11s at best on street tires.

I would think even on good street tires and decent track prep, mid 11's would still be difficult as I'm sure wheelspin is likely going to be an issue.

For a newb, sure. For anyone with some experience I think you should be able to run mid 11s on 500whp. Better if you can hook up.
