Sports car racing in the US is pretty tough right now. It's been fragmented for a while (ALMS and Grand Am) and there is not that much domestic interest compared to the stick and ball sports. That said United Sports Car Racing (ALMS + GrandAm combining) is going to be good for sports car racing in the US.
