Yeah a ton of guys have 20k+ boosted.

basically ill be beefing up my transmission goodies and doing a modest engine rebuild. about $1500 for transmission stuffs and another $2000 for internals and I have a local shop that can do the install. They did my friends 1800whp viper build :P And they are rebuilding for 2000ish.lol

as far as 2000ish hp, lol who needs that much power outside of dragsters? At some point it becomes just a number lolz

Yes. Kirkster is running the same SC kit I will be running and he's had no issues. I will need a new clutch sooner or later but cross that bridge when I come to it.

Well the issue with FI'd Z's isn't really about makinh the power, it's putting that power down to the ground. I haven't really payed much attention to FI builds in a while, but from what i saw traction used to be the big issue. 500 whp is cool, but useless if the wheels are just spinning.

This is true but its all about driver control. And 90% of the FI guys seem to drag and not track so from a stand still the Z sucks. But Ecutek will change a lot of that with LC and TC.

These features they're trying to market off of the GTR are all well and good. But at the end of the day, we don't drive a GTR, we don't have the GTR powerplant, and we don't have the GTR drivetrain.


I just hope people don't get let down when their car doesn't act like a GTR after having all of these "GTR like" tuning features.

My directive to GTM was 500-550 so we'll see when it goes in I guess. New wheels may be a thing I have to do eventually but I'm avoiding it if at all possible
