The heavier people are the only one saying I was fast because I am light(er) weight. So yeah, that's what it's sounding like.

Never said we'd be better. We just said it would be a close race.

I think you're taking offense because you think we're trying to discredit your speed saying its only due to your weight. That's not true at all.

If we can build the karts to all have the same specs, and then balance the weights, sure. But until they're at the same gearing/tire/brake life, it won't matter. They're moody... Like you said yourself.
