Still makes no sense, racial differences or not. If their name isn't on the bill, what value does their opinion weigh? None. That's just like ours when we do a mod most others don't agree with.

It's a cultural thing, dude. It's different. Unless you want to completely abandon family and live on your own, they have a say.

Just like with everything else, this is 'merica. You can have both.

Family is there for support when needed, but you're your own person. So you make the decisions.
