Not really. I wasn't sure where the pry points were but after I fiddled with them for 30 minutes, I was done in less than an hour.

Yes, the thread said "hey does anyone remember how to remove kick plates" because I had resistance taking off the passenger side where the double sided tape had bonded to the running board.

Once I figured out what was causing the problem, it was cake.
