How much storage do they give you? This might be a good enough reason to sign up for Google+

Free storage limits

Picasa Web Albums offers 1 GB of free storage for photos and videos. However, files under certain size limits don't count towards this free storage limit. This applies to uploads for other Google product that store photos and videos in Picasa Web Albums, including Blogger, Google+ and Google Maps.

The free storage sizes are good for sharing photos on the web, but if you prefer to upload your images at a larger size for better quality (archival or print), you can buy more storage at any time. Learn more about Google storage.

If you've signed up for Google+
Free storage limits

Photos up to 2048 x 2048 pixels and videos up to 15 minutes won't count towards your free storage.

Automatic resizing

All photos uploaded in Google+ will be automatically resized to 2048 pixels (on their longest edge) and won't count towards your free storage quota.

All photos uploaded from the Picasa software or in Picasa Web Albums over the free size limit will count towards your 1 GB of free storage. When you reach your storage limit, any new photos you upload larger than the free size limit will be automatically resized to 2048 pixels (on their longest edge).

Anyone interested in going to the CP Tuning meet with the MAZOC crew, please either let me know or post up in the thread linked below. We need to get an idea of how many people are coming with us so we can reserve the appropriate number of parking spots.

I most likely will not be able to do this.

I have a school Honors Society meeting in Harrisburg that day and I may/may not run for an executive office (President).

I wish, but only Honor Society members can vote, and only vote if they show up to the meeting.

I'm not 100% sure if I want to do it or not, it would look great on a resume, but I've found out a lot of new information in the last week that might change my plans for the future, so I may/may not be spending another full year at the current college. And the position is for 1 year. I just dunno what to do and don't have enough time to adequately research it all. :(

I had a talk with a recruiter from McDaniel College in Westminster about a scholarship they offer to members of my honors society where you'll get 18k per year, so long as you were a member of the society, and maintain a 2.8 or higher GPA. I have a 3.85 now. Should be a 3.9 after this semester.

But basically with this scholarship, FAFSA aid, and the GI Bill, I should have a good chunk of change to cover tuition. The next question is stay living at home, (30-45 min drive) or live on campus (freedom!!!).

So I have to schedule a campus tour to talk to different advisors about different issues I see, and if they can answer my question and calm my worries... I'm wondering why not? A Private school Bachelors certainly looks better than a CC Associates... Right? :ugh2:

I saved a sh1t ton of money by living at home and commuting to school. Enough to buy my Z. Commute time was same if not more during rush hour traffic.

The reason why it might be an issue for me is I have to talk to the Disabilities counselor about my sleeping problems and the potential/possibility of having evening/night classes or different one on one times with the professors since morning/early afternoon classes are not my forte. And if they request I live on campus as an appeasement since that 30-45 min drive could be time spent in a classroom, I won't have a really good response to it.

Especially since I want to :gtfo2: of here asap anyways.

Well if you want to leave anyways, it might be worth the extra cost. I didn't mind staying at home personally.

I can understand that. However it's a bit different when you were on your own for 10 years, and have accumulated a house worth of stuff that you consider valuable and want close by that has to sit in storage, open to the elements. :ugh2:

I want my own space again.

Yeah at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is that you do what you want and what's best for you. Good luck :tiphat:

At the end of the day, a Bachelor's degree from anywhere looks better than an Associate's. The rest of that, including GPA and Honor Society, matters less to getting a job than knowing what you're doing and knowing people in the profession. It may be worth your while to pursue internships in your chosen field before you get out of school. I don't know, though.

Couldn't have said it better. That's def the advice to follow. The school and degree you earn as well as any practical internships/experience/certificate (in your field of study) hold tremendous value and will make a difference in yours starting salary in comparison to other candidates ;)

:iagree:

Doing more than just getting your degree in college is huge. Any clubs or organizations you can join that will help you gain practical experience will be very valuable come interview time. You have to be able to differentiate yourself from the rest.

Yeah baby! Let's do this.

BTW can I borrow $10,000 I have this great investment idea and I SWEAR it will work this time! They said I could limit my risk by selling a put and selling a call. I don't even have to own the stock! How great is that?

Boy, Birdman, we're gonna be rich!

That's the goal. But it's very hard to consistently time markets accurately.

In reality the goal is to have the lowest average cost you can and over a long period make money.
