I'd like for us to be able to test fit everything on our 370z here, do the power testing and what not, but end up "sponsoring" a local customer with the full kit if they plan on doing shows and what not (DM i know we kind of went over this a bit already with you) since our 370z here is bone stock lol

Nothing but the very best each and every time from AAM and that's the truth!:ughdance:

Not sure how I missed this post but I'm interested. Just let me know if you decide this is something you ever want to do.

I got my tail lights in, my painter did an awesome job, I knew he would, my trunk is all together, now I can take the Z for a spin... pretty happy right now!

Cristobal09 03-02-2013 12:51 PM

Nice turnout today, nice seeing everybody!

Todai was great as usual. Thanks ron and al for gracing us with your presence!

Masa 03-02-2013 01:07 PM

Yeah, it was great seeing all the different Z's the one single Z. Apparently I didn't get the memo to bring the family car/hatchback to this meet. :|

rAiN 03-02-2013 01:27 PM

Is this a test and tune type of thing, only being to a track a few times in my z28 in delaware and that was a good 8-9 years ago. How many runs (2 for $20) something like that?

clue on...

It is a test and tune. For $20 you get as many runs as you can get in for the day. Track is open from noon to 6 PM.

Are we SUPPOSED to get the blizzard of the century??? lol This post has rustled my jimmies.

Masa 03-02-2013 03:24 PM

Lol - some of the forecasting models are calling for 12-18 inches of snow in the area on weds-thurs.

rAiN 03-02-2013 03:47 PM

Time to get an alignment and put on snow tires...

m4a1mustang 03-02-2013 03:59 PM

Al was shy. He did not want us to get the Todai staff to sing for him and get him free cake a lapdance from Steve.

If I knew it was a Stevedance, I might have changed my mind.

dmhenderson 03-02-2013 04:39 PM

Done. I'll take some better pictures later. I actually dented the one in the picture with my thumb affixing them to the running boards. Why nissan uses such a flimsy material for something that's likely to be stepped on, we'll never know:

Dude, you dented one?!? :ugh2:

eastwest2300 03-02-2013 05:11 PM

I took the Z out to top her off, she only took a gallon and a half.. haha.. I also wanted to check to make sure all my new LEDs worked in my tail lights, and my driver's side turn signals werent, so I just finished up pulling that one tail light out and switched the LED around, now Im good to go!

Yeah like I said, it actually dented with my thumb pressure when I was pushing down on it to get it to bond to the running board. It's extremely flimsy.

Yeah it surprised me how crappy the quality of the kick panels was. Super thin aluminum finishing trim where you'd figure it needs to be a little tougher.

dmhenderson 03-03-2013 09:39 AM

More than a little. If I can dent it with pressure from my thumb, that means any strike at all with a hard-heeled shoe will mar it.

shadoquad 03-03-2013 09:45 AM

Surprising

b1adesofcha0s 03-03-2013 10:09 AM

Glad my Z came with them

shadoquad 03-03-2013 10:23 AM

I srsly considered them when doing the interior. Just didn't want to shell out for it
