im not into convertables.. exception of the s2000 n miata... but it does look cool...just not my style..

i love the z.. my first sports car was a 280zx turbo back in the day.. iv always been a nissan guy.. i wish i never got rid of my old one... also iv owned 33 cars and have tried most sports cars that are worth getting.. so there isnt another platform that i like..id like to buy a new corvette but its not out yet and i dont want to wait..

End of summer is not a long way away.

it is when you dont have a toy right now to use during the summer... car show season and cruising season starts very soon.. i dont want to miss out...

Don't buy a nismo if you're going to mod it. I could have saved myself at least 5k if I had just bought a sport and a body kit.

Yep. Pretty much every reason I didn't go nismo. Just to have the title is nice though. They are a bit limited edition though.

I don't regret it. I love the way the thing looks but if I had it to do over, I probably would have gotten a sport and an amuse kit for it or something.

If I could do it all over again, I woulda got the sport edition with the rims... but 31k almost put me in cardiac arrest.. hahaha

So the plan is to go to Capitol Raceway straight after the Columbia meet on the 9th. It's about 25-30 mins from the meet location. It's $20 to race and you will need a helmet if you run under 14.0. Ypu should be alright without one for your first run. I'm gonna be borrowing Ron's helmet and we can share, but won't be enough for everyone.

I do not own a helmet. Also I have never been to a drag strip before.

Edit: I have been to one, just haven't been the driver.

I dont own a helmet either, i gave mine up with the motorcycle.

Is this a test and tune type of thing, only being to a track a few times in my z28 in delaware and that was a good 8-9 years ago. How many runs (2 for $20) something like that?
