Keep the G & the Z, like a bawz!

4r3s 03-13-2013 07:56 AM

The G and the Z are essentially the same car from what I understand except the G has a back seat. I'd ditch the G, get the Z, and then pick up a beater for when you don't want to drive the Z. Pretty sure you'd save yourself some money on insurance this way.

Listen to this man.

Get a nice fuel efficient car with low maintenance with some sportiness.

Focus ST would be right up your alley.

Silly question....cant you get Fusz to get you a deal close to invoice, and either 1) have him ship it to you, or 2) go get it for a fun road trip back to PA?

An 11 makes about the same as an E5 in the military here, so not really (for this area).

My take-home pay as a single E5 before my promotion was about $52K, so with the military benefits worked out, that averages up to slightly north of $60k. After hitting E6, I take home about $60k, so Im almost up to $70k or so comparatively. Last I heard, that's easily GS12 money, and fairly comfortable for here.

But, it sure as f-ck isnt GT-R money haha

I thought GS-11 was in the 70s, haha not sure where I got that idea from

m4a1mustang 03-13-2013 08:50 AM

You gotta be stupid to buy a GTR making only $70k though. Assuming you buy new that's a HUGE portion of your income. Used would definitely be doable but it depends.

Unless you invoke #YOLO.

its possible but after u add in the trip expences it kinda washes out to the same if i just took the deal here.. im gonna wait till the end of the month when the dealers need to move cars and then push them to give it to me for what i want...

It does make for a fun trip, though. I bought my 5.0 from Lou.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. If you make $70k and don't pay for housing then it's pretty much all disposable income.

m4a1mustang 03-13-2013 08:59 AM

But after you deduct the hookers & blow expense, you aren't left with much else for a GTR.

I wish my parents already had a house, then I could buy an actual Lamborghini with all my disposable income. :icon17:

Hoping to buy a house soon and have it paid off by the time I hit my mid life crisis. Then I'll buy an Aventador or some other crazy exotic :icon17:

It's temporary... for now. Now if I announce that I'm single it's because I decided to live at home forever vs. actually buying a house and becoming an adult. :bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl:

no such thing as disposable income.. anything that isnt used for bills must be saved, stockpiled and then used for Z, and all things Z related!!!!
