One of the reasons I traded in my 09 for the 12 was that rear view mirror camera.
What does it cost to install that instead of something aftermarket>

I bought my cam for $21 through ebay.

$5 for the crimp/splice connectors.

Did the install myself, tap into 3 wires, run wire to HU, change the proper settings in HU, and you're done.

Yeah that's a better deal than say...buying the nissan kit or an entire new car.

For sure. Hardest part of the install is pulling the console apart.

I can take the entire dash and center console down to the e-brake assembly in my sleep but I've had an unhealthy relationship with my car's electrical system.
