m4a1mustang 03-24-2015 04:02 PM

I'll definitely be there.

I will dress appropriately ...

NissanGuy23 03-24-2015 07:59 PM

After 3 yrs of keeping my car perfect, got rear ended by an Audi the other day so my car will likely be in the shop for Apr 4. This is why you should never bring the Z out of hibernation.

Sorry to hear that, hope you're ok though.

Are you suggesting speedos and flip flop's? Not sure anyone would want to see me even try to pull that off.

BoogerHead 03-25-2015 08:08 AM

Anyone have the stillen g3 intake? I have it and had to take my Z in cuz I wasn't getting any power while on the gas. Guy says it might be the intake causing the problem. Says its something about too much air getting into the fuel or something like that. Any ideas?

m4a1mustang 03-25-2015 08:11 AM

It's probably a loose connection somewhere.

Probably a leak in the system AFTER the MAF. Like Steve said, check connections.

Also, what "guy" - an actual mechanic? What's his basis?

BoogerHead 03-25-2015 08:57 AM

He is a mechanic at the Nissan dealer I had the cat back installed at

Pull them off, put your factory stuff back on, and check it and see if your power is back. Then reinstall your stillen g3 and recheck. (thats what i would do)

BoogerHead 03-25-2015 08:59 AM

That's what the guy at Nissan suggested to do as well

Just making sure it's not some random Joe.

D's suggestion above is probably your best analytical bet. Take it off, try without, put it back on again and double-check your connections.

BoogerHead 03-25-2015 09:01 AM

I'll have them do that today

Hope they arent charging much. That's a lot of labor money just to test a simple cat-back lol

BoogerHead 03-25-2015 09:03 AM

Warranty lol

Stillens aren't covered under warranty...

That, or you have a REALLY nice dealership.

BoogerHead 03-25-2015 09:19 AM

They installed it but I'll double check

Cristobal09 03-25-2015 11:06 AM

eastwest2300 03-25-2015 11:07 AM

Im sure they're going to charge you something, it is the dealership, and they are there to make money... so good luck bro.

m4a1mustang 03-25-2015 11:13 AM

I'm down for Todai.

makeithappen 03-25-2015 12:44 PM

Is anyone else planning on going to the College Park tuning charity meet April 19th? I know I have gone the last few years and there is always a huge turn out (over 1000 cars). I plan on again this year as well.

If you want the problem resolved completely, take it to AAM Competition. They will "hook you up" correctly the first time. You will not be disappointed
and will walk up with a smile but with a lighter wallet!! LOL:tiphat:

So ... I can wear the XKCD hoodie or the RoadKill jacket. Probably the RoadKill jacket since it is going to be high 30's.

RoadKill ... sensible fashion for sensible mayhem!
