Sound like fun. Is this the same event they had at baysox stadium last year. I'm in.

I saw rain. But this is Thursday. Forecasts are only good for real time. They say it's raining. Look outside, huh, it is raining!

m4a1mustang 03-26-2015 07:56 PM

They are only calling for snow/rain showers in spots early in the day on Saturday. Nothing sustained. It will definitely be cold, so we might huddle inside the Starbucks if it proves to be too much for our delicate selves.

Would anyone be interested in going to the 3rd Anniversary Meet for Hunt Valley Horsepower on Sat April 4th? It's supposed to be the MD equivalent of Katie's C&C and some amazing cars there from pics I've seen on FB. I know I did just recently say that I'm not into these big car meets but this group seems to have a lot of nice and new exotics show up that would be cool to see. We could probably go here in the morning and still make it to the Columbia meet by 10:30. I'm planning on going and checking it out.

Yes, that is where I got my tune done from 2 years ago. It was like $500-600 from what I remember.

I think their going rate is around $700 for a tune. Fixing the intakes will probably run you $100-150 at least. Maybe more.

They do tunes. I have had my car dynoed there twice. The last time, it was at 324 RWP.

It's higher now with the last exhaust work that was done. If you are interested, give them a call and tell Marken that I sent you. His email address
is markenS@aamcompetition.com His full name is Marken Smith. He will lookout for you! Trust me, you will feel the results!:driving:

They usually do a decent show, and it's fun for a get together. Free food never hurts, along w/ raffles?

Z Stig 03-27-2015 02:36 PM

I'll be at FFX tomorrow. I think I'll be in the BMW instead of the Jeep.

Last year those who wanted to attend the AAM open house all met up at the Columbia, MD meet location. Then we drove as a group to AAM. If anyone is interested in doing that again, we can easily plan to do it again.
