Just saw this today. Sorry to hear about you Aunt and Uncle. How are they doing? Prayers for them and you.

I think it's about time we get these started again :)

Well, this weekend is scheduled for FFX. Let's see how many people show up... It may be raining, so maybe we should check the usual meeting spot, and if it is raining at the time, we could move it to the parking garage behind Starbucks. The first floor is well protected from the rain

I'll probably be in the Jeep, Jay can bring whatever awesome rental car he is in ;), and everybody else can show up in whatever "rain car" they have.

b1adesofcha0s 03-09-2015 12:42 PM

I'm planning on being there on Saturday

Michael, I just cleared some space in my PM box, so you should be able to send me a response now. Sorry about that!

I have a certification exam on that date so most all of my spare time (which isn't much to begin with) goes to study.

eastwest2300 03-09-2015 02:31 PM

That Marzen burger and those garlic fries were :yum::yum:

For you that requires putting on pants and leaving the house. It's a tough choice.

Wait til it's warmer for GB meetups. Then we can sit outside. Better seating for large groups, there...

the pants part is tough I do admit. But I will always make it to mazoc if I know more than just a couple people will be there.

Indeed.

I noticed last night, though, that GB changed the menu up a bit and increased prices.

Did something similar. Just picked up a Southbend stage 3 daily clutch, flywheel, CMC, CSC and all that good stuff from Zspeed. Kinda lame we have to replace our CMC (the one Zspeed sends you is just an OEM part) but apparently, they tend to fail when you take the clutch apart so they always include a new one in their kits.

They've changed it at least twice, maybe three times since our last dinner there.

Problem is, Annapolis is one of their demo locations. They always try new menus there.

They are usually good, though, so I don't mind. But as the price starts to creep up towards Old Stein levels I'd much rather go to Old Stein.

New menus are cool, raised prices, not so cool.. :icon17:

b1adesofcha0s 03-11-2015 11:33 AM

Wonder if we should do another F&F meet?

You can thank the soaring cost of meat for those price hikes. Meat prices are like 90 percent higher than they were in 09.

Subway no longer even has 5 dollar footlongs. :shakes head:

Have you ever tried taylors? They make true gourmet sandwhiches.

Never even heard of it. Sandwich places aren't usually my thing because of my limited options. I'll usually go to Chipotle instead.

I have to. My OEM clutch won't hold at the top of my power band anymore. It just goes "lol no" and lets go entirely and recently I've started feeling giant dead spots in 2nd. Had many (many) conversations with Joe Allison and settled on the stage 3 daily which is still going to be an ankle workout but whatever.
