Idk about that. The Z06 will definitely consume more than a standard c6, but those cars are all pretty efficient on the highway. C6Z owners report mid 20s on the highway (regular C6 can do 30 or better). I suspect, if driven normally, the mileage won't be that bad at all relative to the power. :)

On the trip computer, average mileage for the life of this car... "13".

The previous owners must have driven like me :icon17:

Cruising down to ZdayZ I'm going to guess you will average 24-25.

At ZDayZ?... 6

ohhhhhhhhhh haha I remember now. And don't worry about it. I shouldn't have stayed up til 5 gaming. :tiphat:

I think that's just what you will have with the HFCs. my headers do it to its just louder and a different tone.

I get a "hiss" when I let off the gas when the intake but I don't have a whistling noise. May be the type of HFCs?

Yep. Anyone will get it. Its just our engines. When you let them breathe they get hiss. Its just how is goes.

dmhenderson 04-28-2013 03:01 PM

Personally, I like the hiss but that's just me.

Masa 04-28-2013 03:35 PM

The hiss is there even with OEM cats and exhaust as well. HFC and aftermarket CBE will only amplify it. Its well known and documented and I'm pretty sure everyone's told you its normal at all the meets you've gone to lol.

m4a1mustang 04-28-2013 03:51 PM

I put my Z1 20mm spacers on today. Swapped the pads (Ferodo DS2500) as well, however I didn't bleed the fluid today since there's too much moisture in the air.

It's Lou Fusz. :yum:

But yes, I will take the tag off and the plate frame as soon as I get my permanent VA tags in. Until then I want to look as "out of state" as possible to reduce the chances of VA cops pulling me over for no front plate. :)

So does yours.

m4a1mustang 04-28-2013 04:07 PM

We are more normal river catfish. Common to fresh waters around here.

Mark's NISMO is a more exotic Corydoras Catfish. :p

dmhenderson 04-28-2013 04:11 PM

I really love that damn color. That and the black cherry color are just the tits.

Uhg that blue just looks so nice. I wish I had that choice a year ago.

That was what I did today without the spacers. I'm now running XP10 front and XP8 back with Mutul 600

dmhenderson 04-28-2013 04:52 PM

Headlights done in 1 hr. Apparently they turned out pretty cool.

-Pick up car from Daedalus tonight
-Stop briefly to admire new headlight setup
-Do not pass go, do not collect $200.
-Drive directly to Sterling and drop car off at D&V
-Buy angry girlfriend dinner
-Pick up rental tomorrow morning
-D&V begins respray
-Wait for Stillen ducting kit, Nismo RC ducts and adapters to arrive wed/thus this week.
-Drive back to D&V in rental and drop parts off as soon as they arrive
-Hopefully pick up car 7th/8th with ducts and hardware installed
-Take pictures for show board, develop and frame
-Drive to PA to meet up with Cody, install SS brake and clutch lines, MAF breather hoses and dip coolant tank.
-Head to P&S

That's about as tight as it gets schedule-wise folks

Good luck. I mean with the angry girlfriend, not the schedule! :icon17:

dmhenderson 04-28-2013 05:24 PM

She's pissed because I told her she wouldn't have to drive to Sterling with me (she hates driving down there) because I thought Enterprise could drop off the rental at the body shop but lol Sunday.

I made it worse because Daedalus said they might need an extra day so I told her I'd just go down by myself tomorrow and they called 20 minutes ago to say it'd be ready today.

Might need to take her to Mon Ami Gabi in Reston. :yum:

Wearing gym clothes. Not going to happen tonight. I paid for her dog's vet bill so I'm thinking something more along the lines of red hot & blue or famous Dave's.

Mishimoto custom quad lens V2 halos with surge relays.

I can't take a picture of them on because they're too damn bright.

Looking :yum:

b1adesofcha0s 04-28-2013 08:35 PM

Looks good! Can't wait to see them on the car. That reminds me, I still haven't swapped out my headlight lenses. At this point I'm not even sure it's worth going through all the effort. The melted spot does not bother me even a tiny bit anymore and I'll probably buy a set of used headlights off eBay when I'm ready to sell the car.
