That was my reply from my phone. I couldn't see your location on Taptalk.

I AM NOT A LAWYER, but it is my understanding that you can carry without a permit in your home or place of business. I THINK "place of business" means you have to own it. I don't know how it works if you're leasing space. You'll have to dig through the State code on that one.

My suggestion would be to file for your concealed carry permit and wait the 45 days before you start carrying.

Lots of considerations there. It varies from state to state, and in some states municipalities can have laws different than the state's.

Generally, in most states, it's legal to carry a firearm without a carry permit in your home or place of business, or to and from those two places.

Your store in a mall might be problematic, again considering state and local laws. Many malls are posted against carrying firearms. Your right to do so notwithstanding, you should look at your lease agreement. In this state, it's illegal for a landlord to prevent any of his/her tenants from carrying a firearm at their place of business.

As to getting caught...concealed means concealed. Keep it out of sight, tell no one that you're carrying.

i;m sure to save you guys miles there gotta be some place to rent or something closer. plus i'd probably wear a vest this time. last time i caught a ricochet off a rim from someone elses bullet copper jacket peeled and hit me in the chest. dropped me to a knee and cut me pretty good. luckily it hit flush so it was a welt and cut. if it hit on edge possibly would have penetrated.
