Even still I just get that we are headed that way as a society. For every step forward we take from a pro gun perspective, we lose three whenever some whacko goes on a mass shooting. When it happens again, we are going to lose a lot.

The IWI Tavor SARs began shipping last Friday. You can't get one anywhere though as folks have been waiting for these for the last couple of years. I saw one of the first to make it in OH on gunbroker for $4,000.00!

At $1999.00 MSRP it still isn't exactly cheap either. I do like though!

Looks like the Joint Committee in the Maryland House will vote on amendments to and eventually on SB281 Firearms Safety Act of 2013 today. Over 500 pro 2A folks are inside the House chamber and overflow rooms with more on the way to voice their opposition to SB281 and to let the delegates know what is at stake should they cave in and pass the bill into law.

Unfortunately, MD legislators have already made owning firearms difficult for law abiding citizens. One of the amendments they are going to vote on is to limit magazines to ten rounds when they are already limited to 20. Baretta USA is headquartered in Prince Georges County and they've already said they have been courted by several states to move if the bill passes because it puts restrictions on barrel length that would ban some of their rifles. Of course the legislators came up with an amendment to extend the barrel length to 29 inches in order to appease Baretta. Just like CO attempted to do with Magpul. Hopefully Baretta isn't buying into that.

They're a smart company. I remember when they moved warehousing to VA...I would hope they'd move the rest of the company there if this passes.
