WooHoo.. "Not Disapproved" Again..!
Here's my brand new Beretta M9A1 http://www.the370z.com/members/troop...0-dscn1463.jpg |
haha with the info you gave me on the gun Trooper my bro might be trading in his 92fs for an m9a1. There isnt much of a price difference and the upgrades seem well worth it, so pending how much he can get for his 92 selling or trade in then he is going to do it.

whats so peachy about this firearm? give up the details mate. |
Well aside from the Sig Sauer P226 (which I also own), I think they're the only 2 pistols that made it through the military trials to replace the M1911.
Sig lost on cost LOL. I'm not surprised The Sig is twice the price. And I'm not a fan of plastic guns (cough Glock cough), just tooo light. |

Shot the Beretta today
Really nice, and the heavier gun stays on target, unlike the plastic models :stirthepot: It does have a long a$$ trigger pull in Double Action, although the Single Action is better. Not as sweet as my Sig, but after a few shots it was very accurate. Only real critism I have is the mag release is a fraction low, which means I have to shift my grip to drop the mag with my right thumb. |

reviving this thread for yall
picked up an ATI MS380 (beretta clone) on the cheap recently and picking up a judge tomorrow just for ***** and giggles |
Need help quick, i think it might have been trooper not sure but someone had multiple sigs and i think they were 226's or 229's.
Anyways i dont know what a good deal is on a 226 but i found a used 226 .40 with less than 200 rounds from a local seller selling for 600$. New prices for the exact gun can exceed 800 at some shops. Was going to offer 550$ cash let me know if yall think this is a great deal if i can snag it. |

My question is... "Which model 226?".... & "Do you know the year?" Is it "USA or German made..?" There are various models.. 226 (standard), Navy, TacOps, Extreme, Elite, SAS.. and Obviously Black or Stainless Steel Then there is the "Enhanced" (or E2) versions, which are the new models of the Elite, that have a slighty thinner (more ergonomical) grip. If it's Stainless I say grab it LOL, regardless of model ;) Either way I'd look at gunbroker.com and compare models and prices.. But I agree Sigs are expensive guns, so it's probably a good price. And while 200 rounds is nothing really, my only concern with used guns, is it's hard to confirm that's the "real" round count. Unless you're like me and have a log book of every range visit, including round counts. If I ever sold my guns (ain't gonna happen), I have the log to prove the round count. |
