Oh man.. you got to take care of that

And never carry a gun you've never fired, I hear so many people get a new gun and a CCW and have never even fired their nice new gun.

The one time I don't want to find out my gun jams, or that the cheap a$$ ammo don't work, is the time when I need to use it most.

So top tip for the day.. shoot your guns first chance you get ;)

Nope you cant have one in DC, becuase of the gun laws, BUT if you're a law enforcement officer you're good.

The two places around here where you can't carry (DC and MD) are the two places were you really NEED to carry!

In VA, most of us are armed to the hilt.

You can get a CCW in MD, but they charge out the yin yang, and the permits are I believe only good for 2 years, then you have to renew which costs you more money, MD sucks the most.

eastwest2300 09-10-2011 09:00 PM

The best place to own a weapon is Florida.. I know that from personal experience. FL is the sh*t, very firearm friendly.

From what I've heard you really need to know someone to be able to get a CCW approved in MD.

When you think about it, it's quite BS. Every state should be permitless open AND concealed carry given you are legally allowed to own a firearm. It's a friggin' Constitutional right!

Ah well, at least VA is fairly 2A friendly. Open carry is legal if you are 18+ and can own a gun, CCW legal if you are 21+ and give the state $50 for the permit.

Yeah, I hear its pretty tough. I just renewed mine from Florida, for 7 years, it was like $100, even though I reside in MD. Realizing it doesnt cover me in MD, I have my credentials to fall back on.

Ironic really... the place you can't carry a handgun, is one of the most dangerous cities in the country LOL

If you armed "the people", it would be a safer place.

current gun collection, this is why my mods ended at F.I. CBE.

PX4 9mm
PX4 subcomp 40
92fs 9mm
2x CZ 82 Makarov
cheap taurus 38 spl for the car
ATI 1911 45
Ruger LCP 380
Walther p22

Suprisingly other then the walther the PX4 9mm has the least recoil its insane how light it is.

Might add a few more before starting an AR collection.

Dude, I totally agree with you, but in reality we have a lot of nuts, that shouldnt have weapons, we gotta keep the bad guys from getting weapons.. I do think MD could loosen up a bit.

Yeah definitely want to keep guns away from the crazies. If the way people drive in MD is any indication, giving them guns is a bad idea :ugh2:

They need to come up with a test to weed out the crazies and idiots to prevent them from getting guns.
