First oil change on the wife's car today. Two broken (metal) oil filter wrenches, two trips to the auto parts store, and 2 hours later I'm finally done. Stupid Toyota

First oil change on the wife's car today. Two broken (metal) oil filter wrenches, two trips to the auto parts store, and 2 hours later I'm finally done. Stupid Toyota over-torquing the oil filter housing. I'm shocked/relieved that the housing did not break given the amount of torque required to break it loose. I swapped the element and tightened to spec so, fingers crossed, next oil change will be a breeze.
To the average person, they would've just taken it to a shop, but I just love wrenching!
