Nissans "self cleaning" paint

This is basically the stuff if someone wants to try it out. "Top coat should be reapplied when water no longer rolls off the surface" - I wonder how long

Also, "Sprays clear and dries to a flat, frosted haze, may cause items to change color or sheen and is more noticeable on dark colored objects, test in an inconspicuous area first"

From what I've read is they've improved the formula a bunch. Made it almost like a clear coat that doesn't wear out.

Going by the recent reviews at the link above, it still leaves something to be desired for use on shiny paint. But someone else may have a similar product that is shinier and more durable. For other surfaces, seems like ppl either love the Rustoleum stuff or hate it.

It will be interesting to see how far they can go with these types of products.
