I'm just going to use that money for something else. It seems like I'm either going to annoy people or get a ticket.

I bought my pre-owned Mazdaspeed3 from a dealer and it came with tint that was too dark.
They probably had an obligation to sell me a vehicle that didn't have illegal equipment and I tried to play that card with the officer when I got pulled over within the first week of owning the car. No dice. $100 "Looking Cool Tax."
I got this tax four more times before removing the tint after my "One Lap of Florida" trip.

A rear fog does not give you four brake lights, Haboob.
It keeps your three existing brake lights and adds a rear fog light.
