Alcheng - I broke 2 HP windows machines in the 12 years of Mac ownership of iMac #1  Lets hope this one lasts as long. I keep 1 windows machine(this laptop) and the Mac. I like both for diff things and want to be proficient in both OS enviro's. I have used both at work as well. My wife also has needs for a Mac so thats a motivator. Thankfully she works to keep us less broke
