pretty much the same thing here as gale, checking in on the forum then off to finish my my painting for the day

hopefully I can get it all done today. Then next weekend all my working time will be spent on mudding the garage for the final coat

guys!!! Same here...finishing up housework laundry etc prepping for the new week....lunch with hubby too

Sigh. Hoping for a break in the weather so i can get the Z out soon!

Thanks Ms. BC you just reminded me I have laundry I need to finish. Forgot I started a load when I got up

I am also hoping the weather breaks ASAP I want to get my Z out ASAP! I dont see it happening before mid to late april though

but that's ok I like my SALT-FREE DIET

pretty sad day when i'm w/o children and the best thing i have to do is laundry

looks like rain here on tuesday but temps all above freezing all week! The rain is a great thing-wash all that salt crap away for my sweet ride

Somebody talk to me about the G coupe and how it compares to the Z. Is it just a more refined expensive version of the Z?

In a nutshell, it's a "sport coupe" and not a sport car. The G is a bit of luxury and additional weight built on essentially the same platform as the Z. I wouldn't mind having the G35 as a DD, but I don't really care for the look of the G37. That's just my opinion, though.

I owned a G37S coupe before my Z and it's hard to believe they are the same car. Apologies to all G37 owners; this just my opinion - it's a Japanese Monte Carlo.

Nissan did a horrible job with the styling proportions, especially the rear quarter of the car. The G35 coupe is one of Nissan's most beautiful cars. The G37 one of it's dorkiest.

To me, the Z is so much more of an honest car - much more primitive. It's louder, has less sound deadening, no sunroof, etc. It's a sports car.

It will be interesting to see what the Q60 really looks like. The different sketches floating around show a much more aggressive car than the G37S. Let's see what the final car ends-up like.

I have to agree on the styling. The G35 was once in a lifetime sweeeeeeettt styling queues. Incredible body lines, especially in the rear quarters. The G37 is a MILF at a teen prom. The "restyle" ruined what was a real classic.

That G35 will be a classic calendar car. The G37...... not sure.

mr.gurney- nissan is trying too hard with the Q60's design, i think. if they could simplify the lines to near my G35C (just make it a tad more modern looking), with the G37S's interior, and 350hp for around $45K, im game.

from the looks of it so far, i dont think im going to like the Q60 either...

been driving beaters for approx 6 years and babied both Z's (as in no winter driving, but I do abuse it in other ways i.e.. going sideways)

Basically to sum it up, same engine and internal parts. Slightly larger and heavier. 2+2 obviously (4 seater) and comes with some extra luxuries on the inside

Nice cars but if I go with something like that I would take the sedan

I want to get an older (05-09 year) g35x or m35x :yum; next as my DD but wife is probably getting an SUV in 5-6 months so waiting till we figure that out I guess

I am not worried though cause in 5-6 weeeks I should be back driving the Z again for another 6 months

........did I mention I have no ambition towards painting today

so much for doing chores eh?!
