I was flying on this:

It's a Beechcraft Beech 1900D.
It's small and fast, like the sports car of commuter planes.
There's only 18 seats and the pilots don't have or don't pull the curtain.

I took this shot while were taxiing:

Yeah, yeah, I didn't turn my cell phone off when I was instructed to.
I've flown in helicopters with my cell phone on and plugged into the cockpit's communications system. I'm still here

What was really wild was watching how much the little plane pitched around from the crosswinds coming into YYZ.
Being able to see the lines on the runway swinging from left to right as we approached really puts a different perspective on things!

I like the small planes. As I returned from Japan my last leg was on one of those. Had a bad storm and a military pilot was in front of me sweating bullets. I told him that planes moved all over in storms

I tried to, but the difference in lighting between the dark cabin and the snow blinding brightness outside played tricks on my camera as you can see in the above pic. Oh well.
