A young lady woke up one day and looked in her back yard, only to find a gorilla in her oak tree. Shocked, she searched the yellow pages and found a gorilla removal service. She rang, and a service professional showed up an hour later.

From his van, he unloaded a pit bull, a ladder, a baseball bat, a net, and a shotgun. Puzzled, the woman asked how he was going to use all this equipment.

The hunter then explained.

"Well, first I lay the net out under the tree and set the ladder against the trunk near the gorilla. I then climb the ladder with the baseball bat and fight the gorilla out of the tree, into the net. The pit bull is trained to bite the gorilla's genitals and not let go until the net is tied and the gorilla is captured."

"Then," inquired the woman, "what is the shotgun for?"

"Ah," replied the hunter. "If I fall out of the tree before the gorilla, shoot the dog."
