I thought I would post a couple of pictures of my newest. I've had it just over a week now. Still waiting for the registration certificate to arrive from the CFO before I can try it out at the range. (Yes, I'm in Canada.) So, I've disassembled it a couple of times and done the grease lube job as per Tony's video. I used synthetic bearing rated grease for the lube. And I ran a couple of patches down the bore, so she's ready to shoot. I also removed the stripper clip guide since I have no use for it. I also have a proper black leather sling being made for her.
I may mount a red-dot on the fore end rail and try that out after I try out the irons and get them zeroed. And I'm also looking at a CASM mount for an optic, we'll see. I know I got to the party late with my purchase, so if this is old news for some of you, I apologize. ![]() ![]() Edit: I took her out today for her first shoot. Shot 75 rounds. It took me about 8 to 10 rounds to zero the irons at 109.3 yards (here in Canada, that's 100 metres). I was shooting nice consistant 4 to 6 inch groups with the irons. I am happy with the results with this "shorty" 18" barrelled CQB rifle. It felt "snappy" shooting 150gr fmj Federal. I'm glad the butt has a recoil pad to help old shoulders ;-)
