I certainly have nothing against Desert Eagles....they're perfectly valid specialty handguns, no more or less than any of the other firearms posted in this thread.

I did find your self-defensive rant a little tiresome, however.

Lol, sorry about that, it's easier to put that out there once versus having to deal with defending the reasons why the Desert Eagle is as good as any gun

Kirkster likes to make fun of my euro peashooter 9mms, but I never see him volunteering to stand on the receiving end of one.

I like guns...a Desert Eagle is a gun...I like Desert Eagles.

You really set yourself up for it. Ever go out with a girl who when she first finds out you are attracted to her in some way says "I'm not easy"? I have, on occasion. Because they are easy.

Sortof like someone saying "Not be be a ****, but..." and then they go right ahead and are a ****.

Anyway, nothing wrong with liking what you like. You like the DE, fine, I think they are pretty cool myself, I just can't CCW one very well.
