Wow! Between bayonet lugs, pistol grips, telescopic stocks, and flash suppressors/threaded muzzles, almost all my rifles would be (unconstitutionally) illegal in NJ. I haven't acquired a grenade launcher ... yet.

also, any suggestions on earplugs? I have earmuffs but they get in the way when using a rifle.

Any thing in this class of ear protection is usually fine for most people, but as with anything price is the limit. There are custom molded plugs that cost but feel awesome if you are going to wear for long periods.
