I would have a hard time choosing between these two. I personally have a P30 that's my EDC. But the P320 is on the list of guns I might buy. I prefer the hammer fire of the P30 for ease of use, but the P320 is a damn good gun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
80% lowers are completely illegal in NJ. **** me.

Well, another 2 years on my California CCW. I swear this thing is impossible to keep, luckily my job depends on it lol . Gotta go today to requal, and I can't for the life of me find my gun cleaning kit. And I'm shooting a Kimber... So odds of it jamming while running through 75 rounds its higher than I care for lol

You gotta qualify for a carry permit in Cali? Pa just pay your $25 and get your license that's good for 5 years lol idk if that's good or bad...... |

One more reason why I'd never live in Cali lol My Utah permit I went to a class for and paid $100 or whatever it was. Semi-worthless since I lost that card like a year ago no idea where it went :( |

Too lazy lol I will soon with golfing in Ohio. Need to be covered. |
AZ is the place to be have guns not permits carry the if you got them!
|
Sneaky fuckin website lol I go to replace it and paid the $17 then find out that was just for a downloadable packet to then fill out more forms and pay to get a new card. Nah fool me once that's fine they won't be getting more money for that trickery. I'll roll without one. My pa license covers 95% of what a Utah does just not Ohio. I'll just roll dirty lol

Precisely lol Sidenote I need to look into a class 3 stamp. Found a new toy that actually makes me want to buy another gun lol https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ea8476e9c8.jpg |
Speaking of toys: I came across a Ruger Mark II Government model bull barreled .22. By serial number, it was manufactured about 1985 and doesn't look like it's been shot much. Condition is 98% or better. A friend of mine has it, and I'm researching it so I can give her a fair price for it. Best I can find so far is it should be in the range of $500 to $600.

My wait time went from 10 months to about 3-4 months

Local gun shop is giving me a deal on a package buy of an H&K VP9 and a S&W MP-15 sport 2 for 1,100

Ever since Trump got elected its been a buyers market. All the firearm manufacturers ramped up production in case Hillary won and now sales have dropped off due to people not being as concerned about bans and so on. |
I think this is a great example of how capitalism works. The prices for guns and ammo have been a little 'overheated' the last 8 years, can you say 'no .22 anywhere until last November'? ;)
I think prices for both will come down considerably, maybe not down to pre 2008 levels, but down from the over-pricing we've seen in the past. I saw a beat up Ingram M10 that would have probably sold for north of $1K last year, go 'no sale' at $850 against a probably stupid reserve. By June or July, we will start to see more reasonable prices on our favorite toys. Now if only the prices for our 4 wheel toys went down too...... :ugh2: |
I'm looking at a Ruger PRP in 6.5 Creedmore. Waiting on the price to drop. Last year, they was asking full retail. Now, they're down to around a grand.

I'm remodeling the basement. So I moved my reloading bench out of the garage, into the basement. Have more room now, and all of my shooting stuff is in one spot. Have my new reloading area all set up now.
|
Once I get my permit, I'm just going to get the VP9 at first. My parents would have a **** fit if they saw me bring an AR-15 into the house so I gotta figure out what to do there.
The store I'm going to sells a VP9 with a third mag and night sights for $100 more than with just two mags. Worth it? |

Also, any tips or websites you know that carry reloading products? |
I went straight into a progressive reloader (hornady lock-n-load), and dont regret it. This picture is an equipment survey from USPSA shooters, most reloaders in this sport use the Dillon. If i could work up a load, and walk into my backyard to test it (which i cant), then i would add a single stage press to my setup. However, I would hate to load 400 rounds on a single stage press.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...22d40d2022.jpg

Equipment; Can't go wrong with a RCBS Rock Chucker press (had mine since '79 ). Other presses are out there. A Lyman Universal Case Trimmer (auto's head space off of the case mouth and base. Something you want to keep an eye on). I'm on my second one. Also use a Wilson for rifle. Hornady Lock-N-Load Sonic Cleaner (faster and cleans the inside of the case better then a vibrator). Dies, you have RCBS, Redding, Forster (I have all 3). Take your pick, BUT get carbide dies. Manuals. Get as many as you can, and up-date them every year. The Lyman manual is a must because it has loads for other manufacture's bullets. Jacketed and cast. Websites for equipment. Two I use the most. https://ads.midwayusa.com/ http://www.sinclairintl.com/ Tips. https://www.shootingsoftware.com/reloadingtips.htm I also cast my own bullets in 9mm, 38/357, 40/10mm, 44, and 45 ACP. |
:iagree:
I started with a RCBS RockChucker press that I still have. IIRC, I bought it some time in 1980 and I've loaded over 3k rounds total between all the calibers I reload. I bought a Hornady LockNLoad a few years back and while it's pretty good, sometimes, it's a little tough to get adjusted. Maybe I need better light. :ugh2: BTW Rusty, great setup. |

I do use a progressive press (a Hornady as well) these days most of the time now, but I loaded literally a couple thousand rounds on a single stand Lee press, that I still have. Still works fine. Sure a RCBS press would have been more heavy duty, but for some pistol rounds, that Lee O Press works fine. |
On another forum reloading had come up, and I figured up costs associated with it. Now I posted this back in 2013, but should give you a general idea, and still maybe helpful:

Over the years. I bet I reloaded over 60,000 rounds. I have guns that never seen a factory round, only reloads. Have a Colt Gov't Model 70, 45 ACP with 15,000 reloaded rounds through it.
In this picture are my cast bullets. Want to know how many bullets fit into a 3lb coffee can? Cans weight about 50 lbs full. From left to right. 125gr RN 9mm with gas check. 155 gr 38/357 SWC with gas check. 180 gr FP 40/10mm. 225 gr 44 SWC with gas check. 240 gr 44 with gas check. 200 gr 45 TC. 230 gr 45 RN. |

In this picture is some of what I have loaded. Have more in the motorhome (1500 there). All totaled. 10,000 rounds. Half of it is 22l r. :icon17: When the 22lr was hard to get. Everytime I seen any. I would buy it.
