We know that there's an end to the warm weather so we try to enjoy as many activities as we can while it lasts. What's nice about Rochester is that summers don't usually get very hot. However, this year was an exception. We get hot summers occasionally. I imagine that Texas summers are often very hot. On the other extreme, I recall summers where only 3 days reached 80 degrees or above in Rochester, NY, and rain fell almost every other day. That's unusual. Normally, our highs are in the mid eighties, and only occasionally do we see temperatures in the upper 80's to 90's. Like I said, this year was an exception with many days in the 90's. We will have hot summers occasionally, but it's not typical. Still, there's something special about winter ... the beautiful snow, eating hot soup or stew to warm up our bodies, snuggling together under a warm blanket. Winter has its appeal. As for rain, nah, you should be fine with Michelin PSS's.
